  • Creme is not a mass market product, made by a huge corporation. The amount of effort that we put into designing each bicycle cannot be compared to a brand that has 100 bikes in it's portfolio.

  • All Creme bicycles are built around steel frames. For those of you who are new to cycling here is a short summary: steel feels better than aluminium - it has better shock absorption and makes the ride less harsh. Steel frames are not prone to catastrophic failure - if anything, they will bend or slowly develop cracks. Alloy frames can break in half just like that, with no warning. Steel frames use less energy to manufacture. Steel is real!

  • The philosophy behind the design of the bikes is to keep everything minimalistic and simple - which means that on bicycles designed for everyday commuting there is a minimum amount of parts sticking out, or things that you have to adjust or maintain.

  • The attention to detail that can be found in the bikes is exceptional - we have spent countless hours looking at every single detail on our bikes and perfecting every aspect

  • The commuter bikes we make use only internal gear systems. They are almost totally maintenance free and clean in everyday use. Check out most of the city bikes on the market, and you will notice that many use external derailleur systems, which are great if you like getting covered in dirty grease.

  • All Creme frames are powder-coated - meaning they will stay nice and shiny much longer than frames that use standard wet paint. Powder-coating is usually found only on high end performance frames, rarely on commuter bicycles.

  • Our bikes don't rattle! You may have noticed that many city bikes are really noisy, especially classic-looking bikes. Every time you ride off a curb there will be an orchestra of sounds coming from the various parts of the bike hitting each other. You will not have this on Creme bikes. We spent a lot of time and energy to design and build the bikes so that they will be as quite as possible.

  • There are some great people behind the brand, passionate about cycling, designing and manufacturing.
